Frequently asked questions

Everything about Interactor's tools, privacy & accounts.

What tools are included?
A dozen, all in one hub: Telegramer (invite, extract & account-safety for your channels), The Archiver (snapshot a Telegram, YouTube or X account into a private, searchable archive), Social Search (find public posts the platforms hide from normal search), Sonar (exact-match lookup across breach & leak records), the 2FA Code tool (turn a setup key into the live 6-digit code), Metadata Remover (view & strip hidden data from files), QR Studio (static & dynamic QR codes with scan analytics), the Crypto Suite (multi-chain fund-flow tracing & sanctions screening), the Fingerprint Inspector (see how trackable your browser is, plus IP, VPN & DNS-leak checks), File Drop (end-to-end-encrypted file sharing), File Request (collect encrypted uploads from anyone) and Encrypted Paste (share text or code via a self-destructing encrypted link).
What is The Archiver?
It snapshots a public channel, group or account into a private archive you can browse, search, export and download — including the media. It supports Telegram, YouTube and X (Twitter). Archives are yours alone: you can refresh one to pull in new posts, search inside it, export the text, or download everything as a ZIP. To keep accounts safe it works at a deliberate pace with daily run limits.
What is Social Search?
A search-link builder for Facebook, Instagram and X. It composes the precise query URL — keyword plus an exact date, a location, or a specific author — and the search then runs in your own logged-in browser session. We only craft the link; we never see your results. It is free and needs no account.
What is the 2FA Code tool?
Paste a 2FA setup key and it shows the current 6-digit code, refreshing on its own. The maths happens entirely in your browser — the key is never sent to us and nothing is stored. You can also share a link so someone else sees the code, and optionally protect that link with a password, in which case the key travels encrypted and is never shown on the page.
What is Sonar?
A fast exact-match lookup across a large collection of breach and leak records — search one email, phone, IP or username and get the matching records back in milliseconds. It runs on its own dedicated server at search.77.tools and shares your Interactor account, so the same login works there.
What does Premium add?
Higher ceilings rather than different tools: bigger archive and storage allowances, more concurrent jobs, larger File Drop limits, and deep archiving — a much more thorough pull (for example far more comments and full channel back-catalogues) that runs in phases in the background. Ask us through the contact form if you would like an account upgraded.
Is Interactor free?
Yes — the tools are free to use. Many work with no account at all (the Metadata Remover, the public Crypto screener, the Fingerprint Inspector, Social Search, the 2FA Code tool and Encrypted Paste); the team tools need a quick sign-up — no email required.
What does "zero-knowledge" mean for File Drop, File Request & Paste?
Your content is encrypted with AES-GCM-256 in your browser before anything is uploaded. The decryption key lives in the part of the share link after the #, which browsers never send to a server — so we only ever store ciphertext and can't read your files, paste text or filenames. You can also set them to self-destruct after a set time or after the first view.
What is the Fingerprint Inspector?
A privacy auditor. It reads the ~20 signals trackers use (canvas, WebGL, fonts, screen, timezone and more) to show how uniquely identifiable your browser is, and adds a network section: your IP details, VPN/proxy/Tor detection, a WebRTC-leak check and a real DNS-leak test. The browser-fingerprint part runs entirely on your device — nothing is uploaded.
Do you store my files?
No. The Metadata Remover processes your file in memory, returns a clean copy, and discards both immediately — nothing is written to disk or any database. The desktop app goes further: it runs 100% offline, so files never leave your computer. File Drop and Paste only ever hold encrypted ciphertext we can't read.
How do you handle my data & privacy?
We don't ask for an email to sign up, passwords are hashed, and connected Telegram sessions are encrypted. QR scan analytics are privacy-safe (no raw IP is stored). There are no third-party trackers or ads. Full details in our Privacy Policy, and you can verify the site's integrity any time on our status page.
Are the tools open source?
The clients are. The macOS app and Chrome extension for the Metadata Remover are published under the MIT license on our GitHub, so you can read and audit exactly what they do.
Can I use the Metadata Remover offline?
Yes — download the free macOS app. It bundles everything (including video support) and works with no internet connection. There's also a Chrome extension.
Do I need an account?
Only for the team tools. No account needed: Metadata Remover, Fingerprint Inspector, Social Search, the 2FA Code tool, the public Crypto screener and Encrypted Paste. Account needed: Telegramer, The Archiver, QR Studio, File Drop, File Request and the dashboard — because those keep state that belongs to you. Signing up takes seconds and needs no email address.
How do I get in touch?
Use the contact form — just your email and a message. It goes straight to our team; we read every one and reply by email.
Is this meant for responsible use?
Yes. These tools are for legitimate, authorized work — your own channels, your own files, compliance and research. The archiving and search tools in particular must only be pointed at material you are allowed to collect, and you should respect the terms of the platforms involved and the privacy of the people whose posts you touch. Please use them responsibly and within the law. See our Terms of Use.

FAQ — Telegram limits & staying unbanned

Telegram aggressively fights spam. Read this before big runs — it protects your accounts.

How many people can I add directly?
An admin can directly add only ~200 members to a channel. Past that, Telegram blocks adds entirely — you must use an invite link people click themselves (enable the invite-link fallback, or share the link manually).
Why do some invites fail with “privacy”?
Many users set “who can add me to groups” to nobody/contacts only. You can't force-add them — it's their setting, not a bug. The only way to reach them is an invite link they accept. These show up in your Failures list.
Why would my account get limited or banned?
The big triggers: adding people too fast (PeerFlood), adding users who didn't ask to join (they tap “report spam”), scraping members from one group to add to another (the #1 trigger), and brand-new accounts doing bulk actions. Bans can be temporary (hours/days) or permanent.
How do I avoid getting banned? (most important)
• Go slow — the tool already waits 30–90s between actions and caps each run at ~40; don't try to rush it.
• Only invite people who expect it — your own members, opt-ins, or cross-promo where it's welcome.
• Spread big lists over several days, not one giant run.
• Use “aged”, active accounts with a profile photo and history — not freshly created numbers.
• Prefer invite links for large or unconsenting audiences instead of force-adding.
• Stop immediately if you see a PeerFlood warning — wait a day before trying that account again.
• Don't run multiple accounts from the same IP hammering the same channel.
Why is the tool “slow” (30–90s between each)?
That delay is deliberate and is your main protection. Removing it would get accounts flagged fast. Patience here = accounts that survive.
Is inviting by user ID safer than by username?
No — it's the same or slightly riskier. The ban risk comes from the action (adding non-consenting users), not how they're referenced. Username-less users never made themselves addressable, so adding them is a stronger spam signal.
Is extracting members risky?
Pulling a group's members to add them elsewhere is the single most ban-prone thing you can do. Owning both groups helps, but go gently and only where members expect the cross-over.

🔒 Your privacy — exactly how this works

  • Processed in memory only. Your file is read into the server's RAM, cleaned, and sent straight back. It is never written to disk — no temp files, ever.
  • Never stored. We keep zero copies — not your original, not the cleaned version. Nothing goes into any database.
  • Not logged. Your filename travels in a header, never in server logs. We don't record what you upload.
  • Gone instantly. The moment your download is sent, the data is dropped from memory.
  • No third parties. Everything happens on this one server. Nothing is sent anywhere else.
  • Video, honestly: videos (MP4/MOV) technically need a brief temp file. We put it in a RAM-backed store (never your server's hard disk) and delete it the instant it's processed — nothing is ever persisted.

Supported: images (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, WebP, GIF), PDF, Office (docx, xlsx, pptx), and video (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI). Max 200 MB.

Fingerprint Inspector

One scan reveals everything trackers can see — your fingerprint, network & DNS.

🔒 How private is this scan?
  • Your fingerprint never leaves your browser — every browser signal is read and hashed locally on this page.
  • The network checks use your IP (our server reports the IP it sees and looks it up in our offline databases; a STUN test and the DNS-leak probe also run). Nothing is stored.
  • The uniqueness score is a research-based estimate computed locally, not a lookup against a real population.

How exposed are you?

We read ~20 browser signals, profile your network & IP, and probe for DNS & WebRTC leaks — then grade how trackable you are.

How to be less unique

Save a public channel or feed — then browse it here forever, even if the original disappears.

Archives up to 50,000 recent messages with media. Large files (>50 MB) are skipped and media stops at the storage cap — text always continues.

    🕵️

    Social Search

Build precise search links for public posts — by keyword + exact date, location or author. The search runs in your own logged-in browser session; we only craft the link, nothing is sent to us or to the platform from here.

    🔢 Get a Facebook ID

Paste a profile, page, or place link to fetch its numeric ID — needed for the Location and “Posts by” searches below.

    📅 On a specific day

Posts containing your keyword, on one exact date.

    🗓️ In a specific month

Everything matching your keyword within a calendar month.

    📆 In a specific year

A whole year of matching posts.

    ↔️ Between two dates

A custom start → end window.

    📍 At a location

Posts matching a keyword tagged to a place. Paste the place's numeric Facebook ID.

Don't have it? Use “Get a Facebook ID” at the top.

    👤 Posts by a user / page

Paste the account's numeric ID. Tick “all posts” to ignore the keyword.

Don't have it? Use “Get a Facebook ID” at the top.

These links use Facebook's own post search. You must be logged into Facebook in this browser for them to work, and they only ever surface content Facebook already shows you. Facebook changes its search periodically, so a format may occasionally need updating.

    # Hashtag

Browse public posts tagged with a hashtag.

    📍 Location

Posts tagged at a place. Search a place by name to grab its ID, or paste a numeric ID.

No location search configured? Find the ID yourself: open the place on Instagram (the number is in its explore/locations/ID/ URL), or Google site:instagram.com/explore/locations "place name".

    👤 Profile

    Jump straight to an account.

Instagram has no public keyword-or-date search — only hashtag, location and profile browsing. You'll need to be logged into Instagram in this browser to view the results.

    𝕏 Advanced search

Compose any combination — all fields are optional and combine with AND.

Uses X's own advanced-search operators. The link works logged-out for a glimpse, but X shows far more (and avoids interruptions) when you're signed in. Dates are inclusive of “since”, exclusive of “until”.

    ✉️

    Contact us

Questions, bug reports, feature ideas or anything else — send it here. No account needed; just an email address so we can reply.

🔒 Your message is stored privately for our team to read — it is not emailed on, published, or shared with anyone else. We only use your address to reply.
    🔐

    2FA Code

Paste a 2FA setup key and get the current 6-digit code, refreshing live. Everything is computed inside your browser — the key is never sent to us, never logged and never stored.

    🔑 Setup key

The secret from your authenticator setup screen (“can’t scan the code?”). Spaces and lower case are fine.

    🔒 Password-protect the link — optional

With a password, the link carries only encrypted data. The key never appears in the URL and is never shown on the page — whoever opens it enters the password and sees just the code.

Send the password through a different channel than the link.
    — — —
    Waiting for a setup key…
🔒 The share link puts the key after the #. Browsers never send that part to a server, so it stays out of our logs, your history sync and any link preview.
⚠️ A setup key never expires — anyone with the link can generate codes forever. Share it only with people you would trust with the account itself.
    🔐

    File Drop

Send files securely — or request files from anyone.

    📤 Send a file
    📥 Request files

    🔒 Zero-knowledge by design

    • Your file is encrypted in your browser (AES-256) before anything is uploaded.
    • The server only ever stores ciphertext — never the key, the filename, or the contents.
    • The decryption key lives in the link after the # and never reaches our server.
    • Links auto-expire and can self-destruct after a set number of downloads.
    🔐

Choose files or drop them here

    No files selected

⚠ A short link requires storing the decryption key on our server — that drop will not be zero-knowledge. The full private link is always provided too.

    Your active drops

Links you created that haven't expired. Revoke any to delete it from the server immediately.

    📥 Request files from anyone

    • You get a link to share. Anyone can open it and upload — no account needed.
    • Each upload is encrypted in their browser to a key only you hold — the server can't read it.
    • Optionally limit the file types, number of files, and size.
    • Only you can download what's collected — by opening your own request link.

    Your file requests

Open a request (from the browser you made it in) to download what people sent.

    📝

    Encrypted Paste

Share text or code via a self-destructing, end-to-end-encrypted link.

    0 characters

⚠ A short link requires storing the decryption key on our server — that paste will not be zero-knowledge. The full private link is always provided too.

    🔒 Zero-knowledge by design

    • Encrypted in your browser. Your title, language and text are sealed with AES-GCM-256 before anything is sent.
    • The key never reaches us. It lives in the part of the link after #, which browsers never transmit to the server.
    • We only store ciphertext. Set it to burn after reading, and it is deleted the moment it is opened.

    Your pastes

Revoke any paste to delete its ciphertext immediately.
